Close Asset Finance wins Leasing World SME Champion of the Year Award

In recognition of their commitment and ongoing support to the SME market, Close Asset Finance were awarded the Leasing World SME Champion of the Year Award at the recent Leasing World Awards event at One Whitehall Place, London.

The award was presented by Lord Parry Mitchell, former Chairman of Syscap plc and was accepted by Roger Stone, CEO of Close Asset Finance on the company's behalf.

Roger said that all of the Close Asset team were tremendously proud to win this recognition from amongst their peers. He then went on to thank Close Brothers for providing the funds and stability and all members of staff for their hard work and dedication during these difficult economic times. "It is pleasing that we have been able to keep businesses going and people in jobs" he said. And he put this down to the close relationships Close Asset have built with their customers', understanding each customer's business and working together to be the finance partner of choice.

In addition to this award, Surrey Asset Finance, one of the Close Asset Finance businesses was awarded the Equipment Specialist Lessor of the Year in recognition of their specialist asset niche and first-class operation.
