Close Brothers: Award-Winning Specialist Finance

We are proud to announce that Close Brothers was awarded the NACFB 2009 ‘Best Specialist Finance Provider’ award at a gala event in Chelsea on the 12th November. The recognition that this award provides is all the more positive as so many banks are reducing their lending during the current climate while at Close Brothers we are confidently growing our specialist lending businesses.

The NACFB is the only UK trade body dedicated to commercial finance brokers, representing members from across the whole commercial finance market including buy-to-let specialists, commercial mortgage advisers, vehicle finance brokers, leasing and asset finance specialists and factoring brokers.

The awards are designed to recognise excellence in the commercial finance industry as voted for by brokers and provide valuable recognition within the finance industry.

The award ceremony was attended by representatives of our Retail, Commercial and Property divisions, and the award was gratefully accepted by David Thomson (Chief Executive of Close Invoice Finance) on behalf of Close Brothers. David said of the evening, “An excellent night for Close Brothers.

It was a pleasure to represent the Bank and host a table with a cross section of guests from all around the banking business. I think we all had a lot of fun. This award reflects the hard work and dedication of all our staff within the Banking division. We should all feel proud of our combined achievements and the reputation we have earned and continue to enjoy as a quality specialist lender of choice.”
