1. Briefly explain your role?
As Senior Broker Development Manager for the London & South East area, my role is to be a trusted business partner for all the brokers in my region. Whether it’s establishing new broker relationships or developing and enhancing existing ones, I’m always available to help and provide solutions where I can.
2. What do you enjoy most about your role?
Probably the variety. One minute I’ll be looking at a deal for construction equipment, then I’ll be working on one for high value pianos or a fleet of London black taxis and then on to an expensive classic car! I also enjoy meeting the customers with the broker to shape or tailor a deal, ensuring the best possible outcome for both parties. Whether it is £30,000 or £3 million, they are all just as important to me.
3. How would you describe your work ethic?
Hard working and always available to talk about deals. I also feel it is important to manage both the broker’s and customer’s expectation.
4. If you could be an animal what would you be and why?
A dog. They are loyal and friendly (if trained properly!!) like my black Labrador Bertie.
5. If you weren’t in work now, what would you be doing?
Either playing golf, watching football (preferably Spurs), walking the dog or booking my next holiday. I recently fulfilled an ambition to play golf at the Old Course, St Andrews which was unbelievable.
