Working with clients of all sizes across the UK, the company prides itself on its ability to offer a full range of digital and lithographic print services in house, from design to large format printing.

The opportunity to modernise

Following a review of their processes and existing equipment, MPC Print Group made a strategic decision to remove two older machines from their factory and replace them with a single, dual-purpose machine.

Introducing a new Heidelberg XL75 press centre would not only increase the efficiency and quality of their production line, but it would also allow them to save a significant amount of valuable floor space.

Funding

MPC Print Group first worked with Close Brothers Asset Finance back 2003 and have since built a long-standing working relationship with a series of Hire Purchase deals being processed.

The company contacted their existing account manager to discuss their requirements and the options available to fund the new machine.

Following a consultation, a Hire Purchase agreement worth £1.5 million was quickly put in place, allowing MPC Print Group to complete the transaction and take delivery of the new equipment.

More efficient production, with lower costs

With the new press in place, MPC Print Group has not only been able to offer a higher quality product to clients, but they have also significantly reduced their overheads and waste levels.

The new machine saves the company an estimated £13,000 per month, meaning that it is almost self-funding and it has freed floor space in their factory that can now be used to expand their other operations.
