Close Brothers Asset Finance Marketing team is celebrating winning two dotCOMM website creativity awards for the SME Data Hub; for infographic (platinum) and interactive capabilities (gold).
The international awards recognise excellence in web creativity and digital communication and acknowledge the role of creatives who are transforming the marketing and communication of products and services online.
Led on by colleagues, Jonathan Dytor (Senior Digital Manager), Anton Nebbe (Head of PR and Communications) and Nicole Northcroft (Digital Marketing Executive) the free-to-use SME Data Hub was launched on the Close Brothers Asset Finance website in May, making available all research we have conducted – in partnership with Kantar research – since the start of 2016.
For over a decade, Asset Finance has been surveying SMEs on a wide range of topics and it was felt that rather than archive the data, to make it freely available to everyone, from researchers and students to journalists and finance professionals via the SME Data Hub on the Asset Finance website.
The data can be manipulated in a number of ways, including sector, business size and location. In addition, both graphs and tables of the data can be downloaded by users.
Close Brothers Asset Finance, Marketing Director, Emma Jones explained that within our marketing team we are always looking for new ways to collaborate, innovate and raise the profile of our knowledge of the sectors in which we operate as the go-to place for SMEs:
“High-quality content is central to the success of a website and the user-friendly design of the SME Data Hub enables people to easily access information on what business owners are thinking and review how those opinions have changed over time.
“Nothing like this exists. We knew that we had built something special and we’re delighted that the team’s creativity has been recognised so soon after its launch.”
Administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) – one of the largest, oldest and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry – the dotCOMM awards evaluate each award submission solely on its own quality, creativity and resourcefulness.
