UK Fuels offers our customers a fixed price for fuel, giving them a significant cash saving in comparison to all other payment solutions on the market. This includes cash, credit cards and even other fuel card providers.
Fuel cards are safer than cash, both for individual drivers and companies. Perfect for businesses with a mobile workforce, the fuel card scheme can help to keep your fleet on the move.
When you sign up for a fuel card you will receive a weekly communication with your fuel price, which moves in line with market conditions. Importantly, there is no hidden costs or charges for non-usage, surcharged transactions, or card fees.
UK Fuels has been building key relationships across the fuel industry for 30 years and have been partners with Close Brothers Asset Finance for five. As such, we are confident that they have the right product and pricing structure for our customers’ fuel purchases.
In addition to a market leading price, you will also get unrivalled access to the biggest range of fuelling networks in the UK. Choose from Shell, Esso, BP, Texaco and UK Fuels (which includes Tesco, Morrisons and Co-op forecourts), or even a bespoke network combination tailored to the needs of your business.
No, there is no contract, cancellation costs or minimum usage terms tied to your UK Fuels account. As a valued customer of Close Brothers Asset Finance, you will also not incur any additional charges for transactions, digital invoices or annual card fees, making your price and invoice completely transparent and easy to understand.
Your card is valid for different lengths of time from the date of issue, depending on the fuel card brand. Each card has an expiry date – when this gets close, UK Fuels will be in touch to arrange a renewal.
7, 14, 21 and 30-day payment terms are all available, all subject to a standard credit check. The card has extremely high approval rates and UK Fuels can also offer credit building support for new businesses to help you get started and get the benefits of a fuel card.
UK Fuels can offer you an EDC card (European Diesel Card), which is accepted in 23 countries and at over 20,000 sites. This includes most key oil company and independent networks. This compliments your UK card and brings all your UK and International transactions together on to one simple, HMRC-approved, invoice.
You and your drivers have free access to the useful site locator E-Route, which is available both on your desktop or on your mobile devices via the downloadable application. This tool is fully customisable and can either search for sites specific to a postcode, or along a designated route. It also shows what you can expect to find at the site when you arrive – i.e. truck access, opening hours and the availability of vehicle-related products such as ad blue.
You can either use the fleet management portal - Velocity - or speak to your designated account manager via email or telephone. Velocity offers the widest range of standard and bespoke reporting capability available on the market to help you ensure that you are in control of your drivers and their vehicles.
Velocity also gives users the ability to make changes to their account remotely. For example, you can order or cancel cards, view and download all invoices, set up fraud alerts, or use the new ‘contact us’ chat function.
