What do you like most about working for Close Brothers Asset Finance?
I really appreciate the collaborative and supportive culture at Close Brothers. Everyone is encouraged to share ideas and work together to achieve our goals, which makes for a great team dynamic.
How would you describe the culture at Asset Finance and Leasing?
People-centric, which is reflected throughout the organisational policies and the general team environments.

Yes, it’s very important to me because it means I can work in an environment where everyone's voices are heard, respected and valued, and where we can all learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.
What has been the biggest change in the business you have witnessed since joining?
Since I joined Close Brothers it’s been amazing how the Salesforce team has rolled out major projects like Middle Office, Customer Portal and Back Office.
I’ve also witnessed the team growing from a 5 to a 15-member strong group, which is acting as the backbone for multiple business offerings.
What opportunities for progression and development have you had?
I’m continuously getting opportunities to widen my Salesforce knowledge as the business grows and wants to leverage the software’s capabilities. Salesforce’s ever-expanding offerings are being picked up early to help us gain an edge in a competitive market.
The opportunity to implement new ideas is automatically keeping me updated with the latest technical trends.
How has Close Brothers Asset Finance supported your career development?
Close Brothers places a strong emphasis on professional development and training, which has helped me to grow my skills and advance my career.
I have completed a few certifications to date, and I feel like the company really invests in its employees.
What exposure do you have in your role to other areas of the business?
As a salesforce developer, I enjoy the variety of projects that I get to work on at Close Brothers.
I regularly get involved in discussions about requirements and the challenges different parts of the business are facing. Developing solutions to them means you are using technology for what it’s meant for.
What initiatives is the business currently working on that are important to you?
I'm proud to work for a company that is committed to sustainability and social responsibility. Close Brothers’ focus on environmental stewardship and giving back to the community aligns with my personal values.
One of the things that stands out to me about Close Brothers is its innovative approach to technology. I appreciate the company's willingness to take risks and try new things, which creates an exciting and dynamic work environment.
And finally, what do you do to unwind from the rigours of your role?
When time permits, spending time outdoors close to nature is something that fascinates me. I also really enjoy gardening and always eagerly wait for spring.
On short breaks, I love to be with my family doing nothing.
