Summary

Discover how D4P Media, a long-established commercial printing and signage specialist company of 25 years, worked with us to invest in new production equipment, enabling the business to increase efficiency, enhance output quality and support continued growth in its wide-format printing division.

Customer background

D4P Media provide their customers with a wide range of printing, display graphics and promotional services working across a variety of sectors.

Operating digital print equipment, alongside specialist wide-format and signage capabilities and a vehicle graphics division, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and expert advice. Its wide-ranging offering includes brochures, marketing materials, vehicle graphics, banners and large-format display products.

As demand for their services continued to grow, the business identified an opportunity to further strengthen its production capabilities through investment in new technology.

"This investment is about giving ourselves the capacity to keep growing without compromising on the quality our customers expect."

Enhancing efficiency and production capabilities

To support the next phase of growth, Managing Director Rod Hall worked with Ryan Coughlan, Senior Relationship Manager at Close Brothers Asset Finance, to find the right funding solution for a replacement wide-format printing machine.

After discussing the business's day-to-day requirements and plans for the future, a Hire Purchase agreement was arranged to fund a new Agfa Anapurna Ciervo H3200 printer.

Replacing an existing Jetrix Flatbed LXi7, the new machine represents a major step forward in print quality, production speed and the range of materials the business can work with. It is expected to streamline production, reduce downtime and improve overall efficiency, allowing D4P Media to deliver an even better service to customers while creating extra capacity to take on new work.

By choosing a finance solution tailored to its needs, D4P Media has been able to invest in a significant upgrade without putting pressure on cash flow, leaving the business well placed to continue growing in the years ahead.

Overall outcome

The investment will strengthen the business’s position in the market, creating opportunities to take on new work while continuing to deliver the high standards its customers expect.

By providing a finance solution that supports the company's growth plans, Close Brothers Asset Finance has made this investment possible, giving the business the technology it needs to support its next stage of development.

Ryan Coughlan, Senior Relationship Manager at Close Brothers Asset Finance said: "Rod and the team had a clear vision for where they wanted to take the business, and our role was to make that investment achievable. The new printer will play an important part in supporting future growth, and we're pleased to have provided a funding solution that works for D4P Media.”

Rod Hall, Managing Director at D4P Media said: "This investment is about giving ourselves the capacity to keep growing without compromising on the quality our customers expect. The new printer is a significant step forward for the business, making it easier for us to work more efficiently, take on a wider range of projects and continue delivering the high standards we're known for.
