Close Brothers Aviation and Marine grows team with high-calibre appointment
Our Aviation and Marine finance team have appointed a Marine industry specialist, James Crew, as its new Sales Director.
James has significant experience in the Marine sector, having spent nearly two decades funding vessels – ranging from leisure to commercial - both at home and abroad for a diverse range of clients.
“We are delighted to have James join our business,” said Andy Blundell, Director of Close Brothers Aviation and Marine. “His considerable experience and passion for the marine sector will enable us to continue to provide real expertise and value-added service to our customers, partners and the wider marine industry as a whole.”
James added: “I am really looking forward to this exciting new venture with the Close Brothers Aviation and Marine Team. The chance to work with the team to expand their presence in this field was an opportunity impossible to resist and together I believe we can achieve great things in an industry that is so close to my heart.”
James is a life-long sailor, who has raced in numerous events, including the Commodores’ Cup and Admirals Cup.
