Enhancing Burton Transport team with an HGV specialist
Close Brothers Asset Finance today announced the appointment of HGV specialist, Chris Dawson, into the role of Area Sales Manager, as the company continues to expand its offering and drive business growth in the Transport sector.
Chris is a fully qualified HGV technician, having won a five-year apprenticeship after leaving school. Specialising in Volvo trucks, he worked in various customer-facing roles over the following decade before taking up his first sales role.
He joins Close Brothers Asset Finance from Close Brothers Vehicle Hire where he was Head of the HGV Sales Team.
Chis commented: “My experience of being an HGV mechanic and then working in the parts sector gave me a detailed understanding of the assets I was selling. Working closely with the customer, we would find both a vehicle and funding solution that worked for them rather than a standard package that didn’t meet their requirements.
“My goal is to offer our customers a guided approach, ensuring they purchase an asset that is a sound investment and works for their business.”
