UK-based independent power producer secures construction finance for solar farm

Close Brothers’ Energy team has again partnered with Enviromena to provide construction finance for their Steeraway Solar Farm in Shropshire – a project set to deliver clean energy and environmental benefits.
Once operational, the 30MW solar farm will generate enough electricity to power over 15,000 homes and cut 8,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
The development will also include biodiversity improvements, sensitive landscape planting, and continued agricultural grazing – ensuring the site integrates with the surrounding countryside.
