Specialist finance products

We provide a range of finance solutions for materials handling assets, including Hire Purchase (also known as Lease Purchase) and Contract Hire, allowing businesses to finance equipment and vehicles, such as pallet trucks, scissor lifts and reach forklifts.

We also provide a Master Hire facility for fixed and minimum term agreements. This means our materials handling customers can review and sign one master document and direct debit mandate in advance, enabling them to request assets – including equipment and vehicles – as and when required with only the need to sign a one-page schedule.

This results in less paperwork and a more efficient turnaround time.

We pride ourselves on our service levels and quick response. Your dedicated Relationship Manager will work with you to structure finance deals, providing flexibility on terms to meet current market demands and offer competitive rates.

A team of credit underwriters and sales support specialists will also provide you with quick decisions and same day pay-out on delivery on your materials handling finance.

Andrew Woodward, Managing Director


Andrew has more than 36 years’ experience in asset finance, specialising in materials handling. He has successfully headed-up materials handling finance teams in previous roles and has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience during this time. He is proud to have developed strong long-term relationships with dealers and manufacturers.


Focusing on consistent high service levels for our customers, Andrew continues to align industry expectations with the Close Brothers service offering.


Andrew is Joint President of the UK Material Handling Association, having been a long-standing board member/Chair of the Forklift Truck Association.
